Job Description:
Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implement a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk. Oversee the production of periodic financial reports; ensure that the reported results comply with GAAP. Recommend benchmarks that will be used to measure the company’s performance. Produce the annual budget and forecasts, report significant budget differences to management. Provide financial analysis, with emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations. Work with external auditors and provide needed information for the annual audit. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements. Perform general cost accounting and other related duties in the accounting department. Prepare periodic (monthly) balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements. Maintain the general ledger. Code invoices, set up new accounts, reconcile accounts, and close the monthly books. Reconcile bank accounts monthly, verify deposits, and address inquiries from banks. Reconcile customer accounts and manage accounts receivable collections. Verify payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensure payments are charged to the appropriate accounts. Provide outside auditors with assistance; gather necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit. File required tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies. As appropriate, coordinate with software vendor to maintain accounting software system; recommends updates to enhance the accounting software.
Experience Required:
Someone who has been a Controller or high-level Accounting professional in a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and workflows. CPA or CMA is preferred, not required. Someone who can perform at a high level autonomously, while also working alongside a friendly, cohesive small team. Strong attention to details and organization and planning skills.

Summary of Position: Wild Montana is hiring a total of four field organizers who will be located in or near the communities of Helena, Billings, Bozeman, and the Flathead Valley. The field organizer is responsible for working to build support for programs, campaigns, and activities that unite and mobilize communities to keep Montana wild. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Support programs and campaigns to further the mission across the region and state. Conduct outreach to community members, organizations, leaders, businesses, and institutions through door-knocking, presentations, meetings, phone calls, and text campaigns that identify new volunteers, action takers, and members. Develop relationships and partnerships with community members, organizations, leaders, and institutions. Organize and elevate voices of local members and volunteers and build relationships to expand supporters and members in the region. Distribute outreach materials, educate the public about our work, and relay the mission and vision of the organization. Support local volunteer meetings, organize and coordinate events, and conduct member and supporter outreach. Rally public support for key issues. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the power dynamics and lay of the land for campaigns and the community. Research decision-makers, their interests, and how to influence them. Identify, implement, and foster fundraising tactics in cooperation with development staff. Represent Wild Montana on coalitions, collaboratives, and other formally and informally organized entities that have the power to advance and influence our campaigns. Support communications strategies including increasing online engagement and social media presence of our campaigns and programs. Identify and cultivate powerful storytellers and media spokespeople. Track organizing progress meticulously in databases and other systems and submit reports on efforts. Work closely with staff to develop, implement, and evaluate issue campaigns that successfully recruit volunteers, build grassroots support, and get the attention of decision-makers and media.

The AmeriCorps Summer Member The AmeriCorps Summer Member is responsible for helping to achieve GSMW's overall mission by increasing community awareness and equity of access to the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE) with an emphasis on STEM, Outdoor and Life Skills activities. With a secondary goal of building access to summer educational programming in rural areas and championing female ambition. Responsible for enhancing community awareness of Girl Scouts by collecting and reporting on program data effectiveness and outcomes, establishing and enhancing community partnerships, planning and implementing community service projects, virtual programming, and summer youth activities. Frequent travel within the headquarters region is required. Responsibilities & Activities · Participate in an On-Site Orientation Training · Will work to accurately collect and report on summer program data, effectiveness, and outcomes · Will work in conjunction with the Membership Team to build lesson and activity plans for summer youth programming · Work to enhance community partnerships and enhance the community awareness of Girl Scouts · The member will work with established community partners to provide Girl Scout experiences to economically disadvantaged youth · Plan and implement at least one community service project · Assist in the planning and execution of virtual programming
Experience Required:
